Privacy policy
1. Data protection at a glance
General information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. Detailed information on data protection can be found in our privacy policy below.
Data collection on this website
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. The contact details can be found in the section "Information about the responsible party" in this privacy policy.
Your data is collected partly by you providing it to us — for example, data you enter into our recruiting briefing form. Other data is recorded automatically or after your consent when you visit the website by our IT systems (e.g. browser, operating system, time of access).
2. Hosting
We host the content of our website with an external provider (Lovable / Cloudflare). Personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. External hosting is carried out for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with potential and existing customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offer (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
3. General information and mandatory disclosures
Information about the responsible party
The responsible party for data processing on this website is HYPE:TECH GmbH, Gräfin-Monika-Straße 33, 88367 Hohentengen, Germany. Represented by Theo-Anthony Hulok and Konstantin Koehler. Phone: +49 7572 4023981, email: hello@hype-tech.org.
SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption.
4. Data collection on this website
Recruiting briefing form
If you submit information about an open position via our recruiting briefing form, your form data including the contact details provided, as well as optional images and videos, will be stored by us for processing the request and for follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. Delivery is handled via the email service provider Mailtrap.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us.
Cookies
Our website only uses technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the site.
5. Plugins and tools
Google Fonts
This site uses so-called Google Fonts, provided by Google, to ensure a uniform display of fonts.
Mailtrap
For the reliable delivery of emails submitted via our forms, we use the service Mailtrap (Railsware Products, Inc.).
6. Consent, analytics and visitor identification
Consent (cookie banner)
On your first visit we ask you via a consent banner whether you agree to the use of statistics and marketing services. Without your consent, only technically necessary services are loaded; no analytics or marketing cookies are set and no corresponding scripts are delivered (Sec. 25 (1) TDDDG). Your decision is stored locally in your browser (including a timestamp and the selected categories) and can be withdrawn or adjusted at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Withdrawal takes effect for the future.
Google Analytics 4
After your consent to the "Statistics" category we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and comparable technologies to analyse the use of our website (e.g. pages viewed, time on site, approximate location based on a truncated IP address, device used, traffic source). IP anonymisation is enabled; the IP address is truncated before any storage.
The purpose is to analyse and improve our online offering and to measure the effectiveness of our recruiting campaigns. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, Sec. 25 (1) TDDDG). User and event data is automatically deleted in Google Analytics after 14 months; analytics cookies expire after 24 months at the latest. The recipient is Google Ireland Limited; a transfer to Google LLC in the USA cannot be excluded. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, supplemented by standard contractual clauses. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. You can withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Before your decision, all consent signals (ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are set to "denied". In this state only cookieless, anonymised signals without identifiers can be transmitted, which Google uses for statistical modelling; no data is stored on your device and you are not re-identified. Only after your consent are the relevant signals set to "granted".
Leadinfo
After your consent to the "Marketing/visitor identification" category we use Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands. Based on the IP address of your internet connection, Leadinfo identifies which company visits our website and enriches this information with publicly available company data. For this purpose Leadinfo sets a first-party cookie and a local storage entry. The purpose is to identify potential business customers for our B2B outreach. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, Sec. 25 (1) TDDDG); without consent the Leadinfo script is not loaded. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Leadinfo B.V. The storage period is up to 12 months; you can withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings".
